Solar Guard Coating
SCS Silicone is a high-solids, single-component, low-VOC elastomeric coating designed for superior UV resistance and weatherproofing. It effectively protects polyurethane foam, metal, concrete, most single-ply systems, and BUR roofs. With an ideal balance of tensile strength and flexibility, it offers long-term durability and excellent resistance to ponding water.
This system is an outstanding choice for extending the life of existing Torch Modified flat roofs. When properly applied, the Solar Guard Coating System comes with a limited 50-year warranty, ensuring long-lasting protection.
Our Process
- No Tear-Off Required – We repair problem areas and install new Torch Modified material around pipe flashings.
- Thorough Cleaning – We remove loose debris by sweeping, followed by power washing to eliminate granules and ensure proper adhesion.
- Surface Preparation – A proprietary primer is applied to the entire roof surface.
- Application of Solar Guard – Two coats of Solar Guard are applied, creating a strong, weather-resistant barrier.
